Chelsea To Could ANNOUNCE First Summer Signing In Few Hours

As Atletico Paranaense youngster, Nathan got signed by the EPL Champions yesterday, they hope to add to the Selecao tally at Stamford bridge by signing Fluminense striker, Robert Kenedy. Although both players won’t be able to feature yet for the Blues due to non qualification for work permit, but they are seen as great addition to the youth team. They will either be loaned out to Netherlands’ league side, Vitesse Arnhem or the Belgium Pro League outfit,  Royal Mouscron-Peruwelz. Both are Chelsea’s feeders team sides, and most young players are sent there for first team action and also a chance to get an European passport after having spent 3 seasons, enabling them to play for Chelsea in the nearest future.

The 19 years old Kenedy has attracted a wide range of offers from Europe, notable Inter-Milan and Manchester United following outstanding display at the Continent’s under-17 tournament 2 years ago. He emerged with 6 goals, going home with the golden boot. This season at the Brazilian league, he has appeared 36 times and scored 5 goals. The prodigy who is often times touted as the next Hulk had earlier expressed his desire to play for the EPL Champions 2 years ago.

“Of course I am happy to play for Fluminense but it is my ambition to one day play in Europe. I like Chelsea because of players like Oscar, David Luiz and Ramires. I like the whole team.I have played for my country at under 17 level and it is also a dream of mine to one day pull on the famous shirt at the top level.”

The Brazil under-20 international will be a great addition to the Chelsea squad in a matter of years to come. He is known for his physique and shot-firing left foot. Chelsea is currently ahead of other suitors for his signature and are planning to make a 4 million-pound deal for the player.
