Chelsea To Set To Announce 1st Winter Transfer Business Is Done – Not Alex Teixeira

John Obi MikelAs typical with Chelsea, they hardly give their youngsters opportunity and so most of the players in the academy of Chelsea become unknown and jump the ship to other clubs.

Chelsea youngster Wallace Oliveira is edging closer to switching to Gremio on another loan deal in January, this is according to report. Wallace signed for Chelsea from Fluminense in 2012 but remained on loan at the club until the end of the season.

Work permit issues meant Wallace cannot play for Chelsea and so the right back was loaned to Inter Milan and subsequently Vitesse before he made another loan move to Carpi in the Seria A last summer.

Reports have now emerged according to Globo Esporte that the 21-year-old versatile defender will join Brazilian side Gremio on another loan spell after extending his contract with Chelsea. The Brazilian had his previous contract with Chelsea billed to end in 2018 but he has now extending his contract.

Wallace is among the 32 Chelsea players currently on loan away from the club. with the current poor form of Ivanovic, you would imagine a player like Wallace should be given the opportunity to play. If Arsenal promoted Bellerin and he is doing greatly, nothing stops a player like Wallace from blossoming in Chelsea.

Wallace has scarcely featured in Carpi and his best bet at playing frequently is at Gremio.
