Chelsea are rumoured to have held talks with Metalist Kharkiv over the signing of Brazilian Taison Freda.
It is believed that Chelsea hope to tie up the £10million purchase of the attacking midfielder/striker before the transfer window opens, with the player able to wear the blue shirt from January 1.
The only stumbling block is that the player is yet to represent Brazil, meaning there is no guarantee that the player will be given a work permit. Chelsea will make an application under the ‘special talent’ rule in January.
The Metalist striker attended Chelsea’s 0-0 draw with Fulham on Wednesday, further fuelling speculation about his prospective move.
The striker has been a hit since moving to Ukraine, and scored an incredible volley in Metalist’s Europa League tie against Rosenberg, and here it is…
What a goal. Even if we can get a work permit for the Brazilian, do you think he’ll be ready to be Chelsea’s first choice no. 9? Certainly got skills!
It’s just a flash. Can he repeat that feat. Van Basten scored several incredible goals. Can this Taison guy do the same. How skilful is he in defence splitting moves as a central forward.
I’m not convinced by just this flash
he is a great player, a good handler, a good shooter, and a good passer of the ball. hope chelsea signs him
i think its high time for chelsea to have more quality players in their team.like willian.falcao, leaton bains, paulinho.if possible let them get nani and snedjer.they will contribute to the attack and get more goals.
