Chelsea told World Club Cup final goalscorer will cost £30M!

Chelsea have been told a bid of no less than £30million is required to buy Paolo Guerrero, the Corinthians striker who scored the winner in the win over Chelsea last Sunday.

The Blues were rumoured to have opened talks over the striker, but are likely to back down after it was made clear that the 2 clubs have very different valuations of the Peruvian.

The forward was bought from Hamburg for a bargain £3million 7 months ago, and has since excelled in the Brazilian Serie A. He then scored Corinthians only 2 goals in the World Club Cup, in two separate 1-0 wins over Al-Ahly and Chelsea.

Guerrero moved to Germany when he was 18, but failed to make the cut at Bayern Munich. He was then signed by Hamburg, and after his first season was ruined by injuries, he became an integral part of the first-team in his second.

I doubt the Peruvian striker has what it takes to play Premier League football, and definitely would not pay £30M for him. I wouldn’t recommend him to West Ham, let alone hope to sign him for Chelsea. The price is beyond a joke…
