Chelsea Transfer Latest Aug 26th – Modric Deal Finished
Any hope that Chelsea had of signing Luka Modric from Chelsea is “finished” according to Spurs manager harry Redknapp.
Speaking last night Redknapp said, “He’ll play on Sunday against Manchester City for sure. He’ll stay… it is finished. I think there was a meeting on Thursday and Daniel just said the same thing, he’s not for sale. It’s been difficult for him but we want him to stay and he will stay.”
Redknapp went on to say, “He’ll train on Friday and Saturday and should be fit for Sunday. He could have kicked up and been a problem and if he had done, it would have been difficult to keep him. If players want to be destructive they can be, but he’s not got that in his nature. He’ll stay and play and will be great as he has been every other year.”
Never say never in football, but it looks like the Luka Modric transfer saga has come to an end for now, but you never know what is around the corner and reports are breaking as I type that Spurs are in talks with Scott Parker. So you just never know……….
We keep hearing from Levy & Redknapp when we really want to hear from Modric. Levy & Redknapp will give us their side of the story, but it’s Modric’s life and career. Can he please be allowed to speak because we don’t trust anyone else.
To me am very okay with that because no chance for that guy in chelsea team let forget and manage our resourses and piont out new midfilder from juventus in exchange with Alex…AVB Make it happen…

Well Redknap just said it. The reason why they are treating Modric the way they are doing is cos he has not thrown up some tantrum or threatened an own goal. So he needs to create some scene. Who is Modric’s agent anyway, this guy is hopeless. First he gets Modric entangled in some slavery contract and he can’t get him out and advice him properly. For starters, let Modric call an interview on sunday morning and he should come in handcuffs before advising Redknap not to select him for the match. So many ways to skin a cat.
Redknapp is indirectly saying that modric is a mere man and does not have the violent power to force himself out of terrible and devilish fingers of levy. If modric want to force his way to fulfil his life ambition, according harry, he has to stir up trouble in the training ground. Modric has to cause some confussion and then his dream will come true.
pls get modric and allow BENAYOUN to stay

As for me i want chelsea to sign modric is modric decision not levy & rednapp decision charpion legue is about to start now lets make it hapen,if modric want to leave he’s need to force the deal

Daniel Levy is cruel…Chelsea is always in our heart and future..AVB please buy Joao Moutinho and Eden Hazard or Theo Walcott…Eden Hazard and Walcott is a great winger with superb fast…
I think Modric is suppose to have the final say,he seems to be a gentleman by nature and Levy Harry are taking advantage of that.We really need a player like him at Chelsea.

I’ll call what spurs is doing to modric “enslavement”.Should a player chooses to leave a club,he should be allowed to.Chelsea should just forget about him and look for a more creative and cheaper option.

why wasting time on modric,there are a lot of creative midfielders in this world,we can even go for sneider,ganso or hazard,let spurs ruin their reputation by refraining players to leave,their club is still maturing&so the administrators.
I would agree, there are cheaper and better players than Modric around.
