Chelsea Transfer News – Cavani, Pirlo, Griezmman, Clyne And Others

Andrea Pirlo, Edison Cavani, Antoinne Griezmann, Nathaniel Clyne, Alexandre Lacazette all lined up as Chelsea’s main targets.

As the transfer window sets to open in some fifty something days to come, the 2014/2015 EPL champions, Chelsea F.C are readying to shop for the best legs they can. The coach although stressed that 2 major signings are his plans for the coming season, but the club have heard more than 9 players on the wish list. If they will sign all, or only end up with just 2 players will be known by the night the summer transfer window closes.

The French league highest goal scorer, Lacazette is a target of the blues. With 27 goals, he leads the likes of Zlatan and Cavani (another Chelsea target), who has 17 and 13 respectively. The French international has expressed his urge to progress, and Chelsea looks like a good club to progress to. With a need for a striker, he could be snatched up.

Nathaniel Clyne looks forward to calling it quit on his time at the Saints. The Southampton midfielder wants to play in the Champions League, and with Chelsea wanting a deep-lying midfielder alongside Matic, the Frenchman seems a perfect fit.

Antoinne Griezmann’s brace against Malaga two weeks ago put him 3rd on the La Liga’s top scorers’ list. The player whose buyout clause was recently doubled, is also a target by Chelsea. He will serve as one of the 3 players normally deployed behind Costa, and his versatility will come handy.

PSG and URUGUAYAN striker is playing out of position in the French champions team. He has been made to accommodate Zlatan, yet he boasts of 13 league goals. The forward has made it known that he wants to leave France, and has made already submitted a request as to that effect. He claims to have had childhood dreams of playing for Chelsea, and a move for him by the club might just do well to fulfill such dream.

The latest of speculations is coming from Italy, where veteran and recent league winner, Pirlo has hinted to a move away from Italy. Chelsea are on standby for a possible deal with the World Cup winning midfielder when his deal ends next summer with the Serie A champions.
