Chelsea Transfer Rumours – Bayern Munich Target Frenchman

Chelsea have been linked with plenty of players over the past few weeks, but today the transfer rumours are about a player leaving Stamford Bridge and moving to German giants Bayern Munich.

Florent Malouda was a target for Juventus during the recent transfer window, but as we know nothing materialised over that proposed move. Today though there are reports in Germany suggesting that Malouda is Bayern’s number one target once the transfer window re-opens in January.

Malouda, 31, is now in direct competition with new signing Juan Mata so his chances of a regular start long term may be limited, and the German sports magazine Kicker are confident that a deal can be completed.

Juventus are still rumoured to be interested in the French International, as are their Serie A counterparts AC Milan, but if the reports are true Malouda looks to be German bound in January.
