Chelsea have two key injuries in Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard, as do Liverpool with their injury doubts in the shape of Pepe Reina and the Ex-Chelsea full-back, Glen Johnson.

Although the experience of the two Chelsea players can’t be replaced, the players most likely to benefit from their missing out, Ryan Bertrand and Oscar, are already looking like key players, not only for the future but for this season as well.

The Chelsea team i expect out will be: Cech, Ivanovic, Terry, Luiz, Bertrand, Mikel, Ramires, Oscar, Hazard, Mata, Torres.

I would prefer to see Cahill partner Terry on his return after his ban, for but RDM tends to choose Luiz. i would also like to see Hazard deployed as a striker to give Torres a rest once in a while.

My predictions for today are that Chelsea will play open and fluent football (as usual) guaranteeing goals unfortunately at both ends, I´m going to go for a 3-1 chelsea win, with Mata and Suarez both getting goals.
