If you believe a report on daily star’s website, Chelsea long term target Geoffrey Kondogbia may not be signing for the blues in the summer contrary to initial reports which claim the high rated defensive midfielder who is also on the radar of Chelsea’s London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham is on his way to the Stamford Bridge.
The 22 year old midfieler has been one of Monaco’s best players this season playing 21 games in all competition this season scoring once ( against Arsenal in the chmapions league and assisting once as well ). He has averaged 3.1 tackles and 2.6 interceptions per match in the 21 ligue un matches he has played for Monaco so far this season. He fantastic form has helped Monaco to the third position on the log.
The player’s agent has been speaking about the player’s future and this is what he said;
“We have been approached by big clubs, they are big names. We will have the clarity to make the right choice. The idea is not to sit on the bench of a great club.”
In place of Kondogbia, Chelsea has been linked with a move for Real Madrid’s Sami Kedira.
