John Obi Mikel has claimed that he hasn’t been in this weeks key preparation for Tonight’s home game against Fulham, leaving him to fear for his first-team position on a permanent basis.
John is thought to be too defensive for his position, and Rafa is looking to do all he can to give Fernando Torres the opportunities to get goals.
Oriol Romeu is likely to start tonight, and looks as if he will get a lot more playing time under Benitez. The Ex-Barcelona midfielder is thought of as somebody who can always see the right pass, a trait Barcelona live by.
Gary Cahill is also likely to start tonight after recovering from an illness which kept him from starting the game on Sunday. John Terry, Frank Lampard and Daniel Sturridge are all due to miss out.
Fulham are also missing out on some key men with Brede Hangeland missing through suspension, whilst Martin Jol is also missing Simon Davies, Kieran Richardson, Bryan Ruiz and Alex Kacaniklic through injury.
This home game is a huge chance for us to get back to winning ways, but it won’t be easy. Dimitar Berbatov has been outstanding for Fulham since signing for them this summer and Martin Jol is no stranger to the Premier League. If we can eradicate the threat of Berbatov, half the battle will be won. Come on you blues.
