Chelsea's newest star – Deco!

The Sunderland striker David Healy had a great view of Chelsea in watching his team lose 3-1 to them on Tuesday night, and he was so impressed he is certain that the Blues will topple Man Utd this season.

He says that the Chelsea team as a whole was fantastic, but Deco was the best player on the pitch.

He said: “Having watched Chelsea at first hand earlier this week, I won’t be changing my prediction that they are going to win the Premier League.

They were very, very impressive in their 3-1 win over Sunderland.

They are strong in every department and the spine of the team is sensational from John Terry to Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba.

They were all good but the best player against us was Deco.

I know he started last season well and then faded. This time though, should be different.

He played exceptionally well. He has great balance and tremendous passing ability.

Chelsea are rightly considered a strong, physical outfit but Deco offers them something different — that touch of class.”

Everyone thought that Deco would be leaving Stamford Bridge this summer, but now it seems he has found a new lease of life under Ancelotti’s diamond formation.

After last season’s disappointments it looked like the Portugese international would be only a fringe player at Chelsea this year, but he has forced himself into contention to be a regular starter.

Perhaps he will be the deciding factor in Chelsea winning the Premier League this season?
