Chelsea's Star Snubs Leave Opportunity

Chelsea’s star winger Florent Malouda snubbed the possibility of leaving London for Russia in January amid rumours which were linking him to super-rich club Anzhi.

Malouda was thought of becoming the next teammate of Samuel Eto’o, but the Frenchman doesn’t seem interested in the bucket-load of money the Russians would offer him.

“I couldn’t even manage to pronounce the name of this team,” Malouda told Canal+.

“I don’t know from where these rumours come, when they don’t have any base in reality.

“Me, I am someone who prefers transparency. I don’t have anything to hide, so I’m telling you the truth.”

Malouda is still expected to leave Chelsea in January as manager Andres Villas-Boas seems very interested in changing things up completely since he joined the club.

The Frenchman along with Drogba, Lampard, Kalou and Torres are just a few of the top names who have been linked with possible leaves in January. Some are most likely to happen than others but it’s certain that Chelsea will undergo a massive change under AVB.
