Cheryl Cole publicly denies rift with Ashley – on Twitter!
There has been endless rumours lately that Ashley Cole and his wife Cheryl are close to splitting up, after they were photographed arguing last week after the release of her new hit Number One single.
A “friend” of Cheryl was quoted as saying: “They still have the occasional moment of fun but they both know, particularly Cheryl, that this isn’t going to be forever.
“The pattern of their relationship seems to be that she achieves something and she spends the next three or four days massaging his ego and building him up again.
“Supporting Cheryl doesn’t sit well with Ashley’s need to be alpha male.”
It has been inferred that Ashley is openly jealous of her new found success, as Cheryl has now been officially confirmed as the richest and most famous WAG around, finally overtaking David Beckham’s wife Victoria.
Cheryl is now one of the most famous people in England after becoming a judge on the X-Factor, and the release of her first solo single. This may be so, but as Ashley has just recently signed a new contract at Chelsea for £120,000 a week, I doubt that he really feels that much inferior.
But Cheryl has now officially declared that her marriage is far from over in an interesting twitter post. She put the picture of her with her face with her wedding ring displayed on the social website with the simple message “Diamonds are forever.”
That should stop the gossip for at least five minutes!
