“Right now all of the club wants to enjoy the Scudetto and we’re not thinking about the future. Pogba is a superb champion, the best young player around and he has the attention of the top clubs. But we’re not used to selling. Right now there are no grounds to put Pogba on sale. We have an economic balance and our power is not comparable to that of other clubs, but Pogba has shown no intention of departing”
Bebbi Marotta, Juventus Director General was talking with the country’s Radio Rai following their crowning as Serie A champions.
French international, Paul Pogba has been a target of clubs around Europe, as they all plan to lure the player away from the Old Ladies. Real Madrid, PSG, Barcelona and of recent Chelsea, have all shown great interest in the signature of the 22 year-old midfielder. Some reports already claim he has agreed a deal with Real Madrid.
Amidst all these transfer rumours, the player has refused to talk to the press. But PSG seems to be leading in the race, as the player recently met with the French Ligue champions’ club official and president. The prodigy grew up in the French capital, and there have been talks as regards him wanting a reunion with his home city. The club is ready to table 60 million pounds for the deal, and the player is only yet to agree to a personal deal as regards the contract.
Chelsea earlier were reportedly making plans to exchange Oscar Brazilian in the deal to bring the Frenchman to Stamford bridge. But seems, Chelsea and others could lose out on the deal following the Old lady’s club director’s recent comments. More so, the player’s agent, Mino Raiola has this to say concerning the recent look of things;
“It’s a very delicate moment.I prefer not to talk about Paul. I can only say that my client is liked by all the big and smart clubs. Even Real Madrid? I repeat, he appeals to all the big and smart clubs.”
As his transfer development continues to unfold, it will continue to pose a guess as to where Pogba will be playing next summer.
