According to a report by goal.com, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho do not have any intention of selling off Oscar in the summer. Oscar who has constantly linked with a move away from the club with Juventus and PSG reportedly keenly watching the Brazilian’s situation, has fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho in recent weeks due to his poor form and low work rate.
Although he was one of the Blues’ key players at the beginning of the season, his form has led to speculation about his future with Chelsea. Some report already claim Chelsea are already looking towards West Ham’s Valencia Enner as a possible replacement for the Brazilian.
The Brazilian who joined Chelsea from Internacional in a deal reported to be worth as much as £19.8 million has seen his form nosedived at the tail end of each of the last three seasons. He has so far this season started 24 out of the 32 Premier league games the run away leaders have played. But crucially, he has only muttered a total of six goals in all the matches he has played and was substituted a total of 18 times to make him Europe’s most substituted player.
“Of course [he isn’t leaving Chelsea]. He just signed a contract a few months ago. He’s one of the players with the best contract, a long-term contract,” he told reporters. “A boy at 23 that Chelsea bought three years ago. Obviously we don’t want to sell.”
Although Mourinho seemed to be firm in his statement but in the world of football, nothing can happen. He last summer claim David Luis will not be sold but ended up sanctioning the sale of the Brazilian.
