Confirmed – Chelsea OPENS OFFICIAL Talks With €40m Striker – Not Falcao

Yesterday reports had Gonzalo Higuain heading to Manchester United, but today, reports have emerged of Chelsea holding talks with the former Real Madrid forward with the blues looking to capture his signature. Reports from Carlo Mercato Web reveals that Mourinho is willing to part with the sum of €40 million to get his man. With Didier Drogba leaving this summer, while Diego Costa and Loic Remy struggling with injury and form respectively, there is indeed an urgent need for Mourinho to shore up his attack force.

With Rafa Benitez heading to Real Madrid, there is all possibility that Higuain himself might be disposed to seeking a new challenge elsewhere and he is certainly not short of suitors.
