According to Jose Mourinho, both Loic Remy and Diego Costa have a good chance of being fit for clash against Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Speaking to the press after yesterday’s 3-1 win over relegation threaten Leicester City, Mourinho confirmed both Remy and Costa are back to training and should he decided they are fit enough, they are likely to be in the team to play palace at the Bridge.
“He [Costa] has a chance, but we don’t need to risk it,” he said.
“Diego Costa and Remy trained yesterday with the team, they trained hard today without us. When you can protect, you protect.”
I totally agree with Mourinho. Chelsea only needs three more points to win the league and there is absolutely no point risking the duo’s injury situation. If they are fit enough, it will be great to play them and ensure we win the league with a big point margin but considering we only need three more points, we can do without the duo if they are not absolutely fit. If they are 100% fit, they should be played.
Personally, I will want Diego Costa back as I still think he still has a chance of winning the golden boot but he should only be played if he is 100% fit.
