The former FC Porto Winger joined Chelsea in the summer of 2013 from Vitesse and was sent on loan to Everton and Bournemouth. His latter loan spell did not go well while he was with the Cherries. His two appearances for the club was in their Capital One Cup games.
The 23-year-old picked up an injury since September and was sent to Chelsea for his rehabilitation where he recovered fully and returned to Bournemouth. He has now been recalled by Chelsea and he trained with the first team ahead of the Crystal Palace game.

There is no telling if another loan deal is being prepared by the club for the player but he might be given opportunity at Chelsea. but at the moment, Chelsea are a bit short of options on the wing but Atsu will have to fight for a place with Pedro since Hazard is out injured.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are beginning to pick up the pieces of their season where Mourinho left. For the first time in a long while, the Blues thumped Crystal Palace 3-0 in the League and there are huge improvements as to the form of the players.
