Chelsea are understood to have sent their representatives to Ukraine and talks are currently on-going for the play to join the Stamford Bridge outfit before the close of this window.
He will put pen to paper on a long term contract that is believed to be worth £30 million which is a tad cheap price for the player given the number of goals he has scored this season.
It is believed that the presence of Oscar and Willian are the key factors that lured him Stamford Bridge.
Hiddink had revealed when he was unveiled that he will be busy in this window to in his quest to bolster Chelsea’s team.
Although Alex Texeira is in blistering form for consistently two seasons at Shahktar, he is yet uncapped for Brazil. Nonetheless, he will provide a viable option in the attack for Chelsea.
The presence of the other Brazilians will help him settle in the club easily.
Meanwhile, since Hiddink to charge at Chelsea, they have not lost any match and we hope they maintain their new found momentum.
