Done Deal – Chelsea Agree Multi-Million Pounds Summer Deal

The season comes to an end all over Europe in few weeks’ time, and as the norm is for most clubs, a tour is embarked on during the break. Chelsea F.C is set to go on tour to Japan and United States. The American tour will last from July 22 to August 5, and it is the 2015 International Champions Cup, which Chelsea is part of, alongside four others from Spain, Italy, France and U.S.A . Having had a kit endorsement from Yokohama rubber company worth 40 million pounds per year, the blues have agreed a big money deal that will see the club tour Asia by May-ending for some friendlies in a post-season tour.

This is definitely to honour the Japanese outfit after the big deal was earlier in the year signed and sealed. This development follows in the steps of the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid, who are renowned for pre-season tours and getting big-money deals in the process.

Chelsea is already a global brand, and with consistent pre-season tours, the brand just gets bigger and better, and more endorsement and deals with definitely come their way in the process. The 2015 International Champions Cup will see them touring America.  New York Red Bulls will be the first team to played in the fixtures, and it will be held in New Jersey on July 22. French champions, Paris Saint-Germain will be next on July 25 at Charlotte, North Carolina. On July 28, the American tour ends with a match against prospective La Liga champions, Barcelona. It will played at the country’s capital Washington D.C.

To wrap up the pre-season tour, the blues will return home on August 5 to face Fiorentina at the Stamford bridge. The tour will allow for full preparations towards the 2015/16 campaign, and also help the Coach make final-minutes arrangements as regards a final squad selection.
