Done Deal – Chelsea Man Signs MAJOR Contract Ahead Of Man United Clash

Didier Drogba

According to reports by daily star, Chelsea and Ivorien legend, Didier Drogba has reached a contractual agreement with publishers Hodder & Stoughton to publish his autobiography before the year runs out.

According to the paper, the champions league winner is hopeful of releasing the book to the market on the 22nd of October 2015. Drogba who is in his second spell with the blues after he left in 2013 to play for Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua is Chelsea’s all time goal scorer.

With Drogba so loved among Chelsea fans and non Chelsea fans alike, his book is very likely to be a best seller when released.

The Ivorien has confirmed he will continue to play the beautiful game for another one year. However, considering he only signed a year contract with Chelsea, it remains to be seen if Chelsea will offer him another contract or if he will have to take his playing boots elsewhere.

Judging by how little impact he has had on Chelsea’s season on the field of play, it will be surprising if Chelsea offer him another playing contract next season. He got his first start since February last weekend against QPR and is in line to lead the line again against Manchester United this weekend unless Loic Remy is declared fit enough to play.
