Done & Dusted – THREE Players Signings Chelsea Could ANNOUNCE THIS Week

Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann celebrates his second goal against Rayo Vallecano during their Spanish First Division soccer match in Madrid

Transfer rumours do not stop just because football does and our point of focus is newly crowned England champions “Chelsea”as they are being linked to various players in the upcoming summer transfer window.

We take a comprehensive look at 3 players that “might”be brought in this week. Fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride as we update you on the latest transfer happenings revolving round Stamford Bridge.

First on the list is Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann . Antoine Griezmann is open to a summer move to Chelsea and is keen to find out whether the Premier League champions will make a serious bid to sign him. Atlético Madrid are keen to renegotiate Griezmann’s current contract to increase the £43 million buy-out clause that was inserted into his deal after joining from Real Sociedad last summer.

Chelsea have tracked Griezmann for two years and are well aware of the clause in his Atlético contract that would force the Spanish club into allowing another player to make the move to Stamford Bridge. Griezmann can play anywhere across a front three and has scored 22 goals in La Liga games this season.

With Didier Drogba possibly moving to Major League Soccer and Chelsea only replacing André Schürrle and Mohamed Salah with Juan Cuadrado in January, Chelsea could be in the market for more than one forward this summer and Griezmann has been earmarked as a possible replacement

Atlético coach Diego Simeone is adamant the club should not sell Griezmann after just one season, but the 24-year-old is clearly not discouraging Chelsea’s interest. Also making the round is another player of interest “Radamel Falcao ” The Colombian forward was on loan to Man Utd and after a rather disappointing spell at Old Trafford he is now set to make a return back to his parent club Monaco.

Manchester United passed on their option to sign the Colombian permanently after he only scored four goals while on loan from Monaco. The player has stated that he wants his future sorted out before the Copa America. Radamel Falcao is desperate to move to Chelsea this summer and will take a massive pay cut to force through a move, the Telegraph report.

But the 29-year-old wants to stay in the Premier League and would like to move to London with Chelsea on the lookout for a replacement for Didier Drogba. Finally,on the rounds today, is another player whose arrival could excite Chelsea faithfuls -“Nicolas Gaitan”

Chelsea are reportedly poised to agreeing a deal for Benfica star Nicolas Gaitan ahead of a £25.3million transfer this summer. The Blues would be expected to trigger Gaitan’s relatively cheap release clause to complete a deal for the 27-year-old.

The Portuguese champions are hoping to raise £70 million from player sales this summer, via the Express, and agreeing to let Gaitan move to Stamford Bridge would help with that.
