Drogba – I'm not going back to Marseille!

The Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is more than happy playing at Chelsea, and says that any publicity in France linking him with a return to Marseille are very wide of the mark.

He intends to stay playing at the highest level for as long as possible, and you cant get much bigger that Chelsea. He may be 32 years old but he is in the form of his life this season and he intends to carry on playing like this as long as possible.

He said when asked about the Marseille rumours: “A return? Not likely… My name comes up often when it comes to boosting subscriptions. We must be realistic. I am not greedy financially, but I reached a certain level that I hope to keep.”

Drogba has always maintained that because he didn’t move into top class football until a late stage it means he can carry on playing even longer than most strikers. Who can argue with him when he is such good form?
