Drogba's Leave Is Confirmed By Marseille Officials!

The rumours which were linking Chelsea’s striker Didier Drogba to a possible January leave have been confirmed by Marseille’s sporting director Jose Anigo. Although the destination of the striker is still unknown, the club official declared that Drogba is sure to leave Chelsea soon.

“During the transfer window we need to be clever and we need to recruit a striker since that is the choice of the coach”, Anigo told Telefoot

“It won’t be Didier Drogba, I can already tell you this”

“I spoke to him on the phone and he told me firmly that he has a good reason to go somewhere else and therefore he prefers to live somewhere else.”

A possible destination for Drogba could be next to his friend Nicolas Anelka at the Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua. The Ivorian striker hasn’t been offered a contract extension so far at Chelsea, and even though his goals saved Andres Villas-Boas’ side in several occasions, the Portuguese seems uncertain if to keep him at the club or not.

Anelka already left and others like Drogba, Kalou or Lampard are also expected to make the move. Who do you think will be the next to leave the Blues in January?
