End Of Diego Costa? Chelsea Set To ANNOUNCE Signing Of Breel Embolo

According to the Metro, Chelsea are lining up a deal to sign FC Basel striker Breel Embolo. 18 year old Breel Embolo has become a star in Switzerland after bursting into the Basel first team, he has scored an impressive 16 goals in 47 matches.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Juventus, Barcelona and Wolfsburg are reportedly interested in the 18 year old Switzerland striker. With the report from the Metro indicating Chelsea are most likely favuorite’s to land him (Embolo).

It is believed that Chelsea are keen on a January deal for the 18 year old and will move for him should Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao depart the club (Chelsea).

Remy is on the Radar of a number of premier league sides and Falcao could return to Monaco prematurely should Chelsea decide to cancel his loan spell.

The reports state that Basel are demanding a whopping 20 million pounds for Embolo.

So if Chelsea want the youngster they have to move quickly as Wolfsburg are reportedly close to signing him (Embolo) too.

According to Wolfsburg sporting director Klaus Allofs, the club (Wolfsburg) a deal for Embolo is in progress. “We are on the way, working economically, a deal is progressing.” Klaus told Bild.

The youngster has scored 4 goals in 10 games this season for Basel, and he also scored in his first international start for Switzerland in the 7-0 thrashing of San Marino.

Embolo is known for his speed, power and versatility as he can also play on the right wing.
