Chelsea flop midfielder Juan Cuadrado has been on loan at the Serie A with Italian giants Juventus and he has been very impressive for the side as against his non-impact spell at Chelsea.

The player moved to Chelsea in the January transfer window but could not do enough to impress manager Jose Mourinho and was deemed surplus to requirements and was sent on loan back to the Serie A where he came from despite Chelsea going on to win the English Premier League title that season.

Juventus chief Guisseppe Marrotta has thus insisted that the Old Ladies are confident on keeping Chelsea on loan winger Juan Cuadrado permanently at the club beyond his loan deal which expires next summer as he has done enough for them and they see him doing well there than anywhere else.

Although,  the Player joined Chelsea in January but was loaned out in the summer transfer window just few months later. The Italian side is said to be impressed with the impact of the Columbian since he moved to Turin and the Turin club is keen to retain the services of the 27 year old.

Juventus Chief Guisseppe Marrotta said, “We have no right of redemption, at Chelsea’s request, it is just a loan

He’s expressed his happiness at being here with us, and [his happiness to] continue here in future.”

“We’ll look at things with Chelsea at the appropriate time, but it’s very likely that there will be a good conclusion.

Cuadrado who scored the winning goal in Juventus 2-1 win over local rivals Torino last weekend is keen on making a permanent switch to Turin when his loan deal expires and his agent is said to be set for a meeting with Juventus in order to discuss the move.

It remains to be seen what the end of this drama will be.
