The Porto striker Falcao has said that he wants to play in the Premier League, which could be interpreted as a plea to his former boss Villas-Boas to bring him to Chelsea.
The 25-year-old forward is valued at around £26 million pounds because of his amazing strike rate of 72 goals in 81 games.
The Colombian is not saying which team in the Premier League he would like to play for, but it seems clear he is talking about Chelsea.
TalkSport Radio reported him as saying: “There is a club that I dream to play for. They are foreign but I do not want to say who it is now. The Spanish league is good, but I prefer the Premier League as there is a better atmosphere on the field”.
Speaking about his form he said: “I never thought I would score so many goals. It has been a surprise for me and I have benefited from the quality that we have in our team. I have matured in every respect and I am qualified to play in any big league”.
If Villas-Boas is to bring Falcao to Chelsea he will surely have to sell the like of Drogba, Anelka, Malouda and Kalou to finance the deal and to make room in the squad for another striker.
