Falcao not interested in Chelsea move

With a week to go ahead of the Champions League final against Bayern, Chelsea got a bad piece of news from Spain as long term target Radamel Falcao declared that he doesn’t want to leave Spanish side Atletico Madrid next season.

The Blues have been tracking the striker ever since he won the Europa League with Porto, and now in his first season at Atletico Madrid his excellent performances which took the team into the Europa League final convinced Chelsea that he’s an excellent signing. Despite all this, Falcao doesn’t seem ready to make the switch as he declared: “I am looking forward to the Europa League final, if we win. If we do not make the Champions League it would be a shame, but it does not mean that I will go.

“Now I want to finish the season well and get the best position we can in the league and win in Bucharest. Then begin another season with Atletico.”

The formal Porto striker is not the only target for Chelsea who are also targeting his former colleague Hulk. The Brazilian is one of the hottest possession in Europe at the moment, but the £70 million price tag the Portuguese have on him is due to set Chelsea back.
