Manchester United have had a very easy run to the Premiership title this season, but he is expecting it to be a little more different next year as he expects The Special One to return to the Bridge and mount a serious challenge for the title.
Ahead of tomorrows game against Man City, Fergie was asked if he thought that City would come back and fight for the title again next season. He replied: “You’d expect – if José goes back to Chelsea – a big challenge there.
“Manchester City won’t go away, with the money they’ve got. And I think Arsenal will improve – there’s some indication that Arsenal are building a better squad than people think – and Tottenham have been progressing for a couple of years now. So it’s a hard league to win, there’s no doubt about that.
“But at this moment in time we just need to concentrate on winning the league this year.”
Considering that Mourinho and Ferguson are very good friends you wouldn’t expect him to be just guessing, so I think it is safe to assume that Fergie is fully expecting this move to happen or why else would he announce it publicly like that?
Am ok. with last games performance and I think chelsea should gve lampard a new contruct.
