According to daily star, Chelsea are ready to sell two of their players this summer in order to fund a big money move for Liverpool want-away attacker Raheem Sterling. Sterling’s agent has made it clear to Liverpool that his client will not be signing a new contract with the club which has encouraged clubs such as Chelsea to bid for the player.

With Chelsea been a London club and Sterling reportedly keen to return back to London, the blues have a good chance of signing him and to do so, they are prepared to sell South American duo Oscar and Cuadrado.

Although Chelsea only just bought Cuadrado in the winter, it is thought Mourinho is ready to sanction a sale of the Colombian after failing to impress at the stamford bridge while Oscar work rate has reportedly annoyed Mourinho and will consider selling him in the summer.

Although Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal are reportedly interested in Sterling, it is believe Chelsea’s only major challenger for the player is Arsenal due to the location and with Arsene Wenger known for his penny pinching, Chelsea could have it easy to sign the Englishman who is reportedly available for £50million.

£50million is surely not a fee Wenger is likely to sanction for the purchase of a 20-year old despite his recent big money purchases.
