Former Italy Defender Confirms Chelsea Could Complete Transfer Of €30m Star

Chelsea SquadAs the Italian champions have acquired the services of Chelsea-target, Palermo striker Paulo Dybala, the club’s former defender Alessandro Birindelli has thrown his weight behind the decision. He said of the signing of the player who is expected to complete the deal this week,

“I think it’s a coup, but whether he will be good and will prevail immediately may depend on Carlos Tevez. He’s an important player and unpredictable, definitely a great buy for Juventus in terms of present and future.”

With that done, the club also wants to get Chelsea midfielder, Oscar, and Birindelli says concerning the purported deal,

“I like him a lot, if I were to make an investment or another important economic effort, I would do it on the right of midfield with the Brazilian from Chelsea.”

Juve have shown interest in Oscar, and Chelsea wants to use him as makeweight in the transfer of France international, Paul Pogba from Italy to the Stamford bridge. Chelsea place the 22 year-old on top of their wish list, but aren’t ready to pay more than 50 million pounds for his transfer. Juventus however want 70 million pounds for the brilliant midfielder, who is also said to have personal demands of 250,000 pounds in weekly wages. It is hoped that with the Old Lady interest in having Oscar as his replacement, a deal can be agreed between both clubs that will see Pogba move to the Stamford bridge.
