Frank Lampard names his favourite goal as he reaches Chelsea milestone
The Chelsea midfielder raised himself to 5th place in the all-time Chelsea goalscoring charts (equal with Jimmy Greaves) when he scored his 132nd goal for Chelsea against Sunderland on Tuesday.
But he was asked which one of them was his favourite?
“My favourite goal was the one that won us the league at Bolton.”
“It wasn’t technically the best but it was such a special one for me and the club. I watch it now and again and when I do it gives me shivers.”
He has scored so many brilliant goals i would love to see a video made up of all of them. Can someone arrange that for me?
So now he is joint fifth. It won’t take him long to score another, and if he scores his usual 20 goals this season he would move up to third place, as he is presently 18 goals behind Roy Bentley and one of my old favourites, Peter Osgood, in joint third.
I think that is practically guaranteed don’t you?
