Guus Hiddink Makes BIG Changes, Chelsea Likely Line Up For Watford

John Obi MikelIt is Boxing Day match. There is no rest in the Premier League and the fans will take delight in the holiday as they will be entertained.

Chelsea will play Watford and it will be the first game of Hiddink on the sideline. We might see some shock changes in terms of the line-up and the tactics might be completely different from what used to be the norm for Mourinho.

Hidddink has overseen some training sessions and a full squad. Hazard was reportedly back to full training but is short of a returning for the Watford game.

Chelsea have lost nine League games and he hope that era is already behind with the departure of Mourinho.

This is how we think Chelsea will line-up vs Watford.

Goalkeeper

Thibaut Courtois’ place in-between the sticks for Chelsea is indisputable at the moment. He will sure be retained in goal today.

Defence

We might see some shock changes in some defence at some point this season. Hiddink will be tempted to retain the same defence fervently used by Mourinho. Ivanovic and Azpilicueta will play on the right and left flank respectively. In the heart of defence, we’ll Terry and Zouma manning the centre.

Midfield

This is where the major shakeup might take place. Matic has been poor and we might see him replaced with Mikel in front of the defence. Ramires will play closest to Mikel while we expect Fabregas to be the creative hub.

Attack

With Hazard unfit for the game, Pedro will take his place on the left flank while we expect to see Willian on the right. We suspect that Remy will be favoured as the lead attack.
