Hamburg v Chelsea highlights – The Blues lose again

Chelsea finished their tour of Germany last night with yet another defeat, this time in Hamburg. It was a comedy of errors yet again as every goal was more due to defending mistakes rather than attacking qualities.

Michael Essien did well to take advantage of a terrible back pass to give Lampard the opening goal, and Petric pounced on a Yuri Zhirkov backpas to level the scores.

Hamburg sub Heung Min Son scored a late one after yet another mistake to give the Germans the win. Chelsea have certainly been consistent this preseason. They have lost every game!

We can only hope that they start getting themselves into shape soon with the Man Utd match looming very quickly….
