Charly Musonda “absolutely” must leave Chelsea and immediately says the player’s father/agent Charles Musonda and this is according to reports from Derniere Heuere.
Musonda joined Chelsea from Anderlecht in the summer transfer window of 2012 and was joined at the Blues by his older brothers, Tika and Lamisha.
However, the 19-year-old is the most influential player of the trio and a number of clubs have been showing their interest in the fantastic midfielder.
Foot Mercato released reports that Manchester United are very interested in the player and almost completed his transfer in the summer transfer window as they reportedly made a €15 million offer for him in the summer.
Furthermore, the same French report is making claims that the playmaker is unhappy at Chelsea due to the lack of first-team chances so far and due to the fact that the team seems to be in disarray at the moment.
To make matters worse for Musonda, he’s yet to make any senior appearance for the Blues and he recently signed a new contract with the promise of first team opportunities and fans are even wondering why he has not featured for the team since they lack committed and powerful midfielders at the moment.
Musonda’s father believes therefore that the best for the midfielder is for him to leave Chelsea and has confirmed that the likes of AS Monaco are interested in signing the youngster.
Charles Musonda said, “He must absolutely [leave]. Monaco tried to take him and they were not the only ones. He has to play in the first team to improve quickly.”
