27-year old former Shaktar Donetsk Brazilian attacker, Willian, has spoken about his Chelsea transfer in a recent interview. Willian who joined Chelsea in 2013 for a whooping £32million has been one of Chelsea’s standout players this term. He is currently the leading scorer in the Chelsea team and has shown exceptional quality where others have battled with under-performance.
The Brazil international with his great performances and wonderful ability to create goal scoring opportunities has turned himself into a key player at Chelsea. The Brazilian, who can play on virtually every attacking midfield area has already racked up an impressive 113 appearances for the premier league defending champions.
Willian who spoke about his Chelsea move in an interview had this to say, ” I think it was the best moment in my life when I signed for Chelsea because it was my dream to come here, so when I came, I was very happy to play for Chelsea and to win titles here.
“It was difficult because all that was left was to go to Tottenham, but I didn’t sign as on the last moments, Chelsea came in.
“I said am sorry, but I go to Chelsea. Thats my dream, I have to go there, I don’t care, but I go there.”
While the form of most Chelsea players have been on the decline, Williian has been dubbed as the only Chelsea player who have improved this season. He has created a total of 37 chances in the league, Only Eden Hazard in the Chelsea team has created more. He also has completed 535 passes with a pass accuracy of 85%, of which 61% were forward passes.
