If only Chelsea had Willian instead of Torres last night!
Chelsea suffered their first Champions League defeat under Roberto Di Matteo last night against Shakhtar Donetsk, and it certainly made me wish I could turn back to the clock and change a couple of decisions made by Roman Abramovich in the last few seasons. For starters I was over the moon when Di Matteo finally took Fernando Torres off the field after 70 minutes of last nights game.
In the last three Chelsea games Torres has consistently failed to even shoot when through on goal never mind getting anywhere near a miss, and every time he has received the ball he has dribbled round in circles until an opponent has taken the ball of him. Chelsea fans may as well play the lotto online as hope for Torres to finally hit the target. We may as well have played with ten men rather than have him on the pitch. Why on Earth did Abramovich pay such a ridiculous sum for him again?
Secondly I wish that Chelsea had have tried harder to get the Brazilian Willian from Shakhtar when they came close 14 months ago. He may be small (and reminded me of a young Michael Jackson!) but he ran rings around the Chelsea defence every time he got the ball. The Shakhtar manager Mircea Lucescu made it clear that Abramovich could have bought Willian if they had realised his true value.
“Chelsea didn’t even get anywhere near to our requirements,” said Lucescu. “Speaking specifically about the amounts, they officially offered the sum for which we had bought him young. I would really like them to highly appreciate his true value in this Champions League tie and realise they made a big mistake by not offering what he is worth.”
Can you imagine what a different outcome would have been last night if Willian had been on the pitch instead of Torres? It doesn’t bear thinking about. Anyway all I have to say now is – Bring on Falcao and let Torres go the other way. PLEASE!
It as been very unfortunate that, Torres as being performing in all our games and it as costed a wounded heart to all blue fans. I think he has lost his passion for football. The solution for now is for him to remain on bench while Sturidge starts and Moses should be converted as a striker before going for Falcao come January. Please RDM, Abramovic, Board of Directors and all other Executive members, we Chelsea fans are not happy; do something!!!
Willian is very good, but he is a midfield player and our midfield is already star-studded. What we need is a striker with Willian type abilities. This is Neymar. Neymar would fit very well into our new passing game and has skills that Willian can only dream of. He also comes as just 20 years of age.
if torres can spend sometime and think about fan reaction to his poor performance, he will sit up. He is too fool of himself.
Thank God somebdy eventualy saw what i have been lookin at…One thing i lyk about chelsea team now is that,it is nw easy 4 us to detect a loophole…Every chelsea fan now knws that torres has been over spoon fed…If not 4 our God-sent midfielders,we wunt even be scoring at matches.Our torres is collecting a whooping 170k every week without scoring a single,datz the definition of a robber.Check out united,hernandez scord twice,bt only receives half wat our el nino is given…..Somebdy should equaly warn di mateo of palyin ramires in the wings,that wil be d action that culd get him d sack…He loves ramires nd should be cautious of dat.
Torres is a disgrace to chelsea football. Let us be using false 9 formation by using one of our midfielder and ‘Fakenados’ torres barnish to bench till january and go for Falcao and recall Lukaku from loan.

I hv always stuck my neck out 4 torres, however, I hv realised its no use. El nino is no joy to watch, he roams off position, lacks concentration nd always complains. I’ll rather falcao moves to chelsea nd we either sell T-boy or patner them. Willian made it clear that despite d purchase of oscar he could still join chelsea bt he wasn’t gotten, no big deal. Put a certain falcao upfront, nd a dependable defender, not JT. Den d blues are good to go.
I’ve always been a fan of torres since his arival 2 d epl & when he signed 4 d heavy waight of english football dat’s chelsea fc. I’ve always put faith in torres 2 bang in goals. Last season u said chelsea team was too slow dat’s why u find it so dificult 2 score goals, now u’ve d best midfield in epl & d whole team play around u why r u still finding it so dificult 2 score? Elino sowi 2 say dis u are a masive flop & u r finished. Chelsea fans around d globe no longer have faith in u again. Plz roman abramovich shud save our season & sign king radamel falcao or neymar & torres shud settle 4 a place on d bench. Then roman u can cash in on torres next summer even if is £20 million. RDM has not learnt his leasons and is a shame b/c it can cause him his job.. Remires is a key man in the double pivot and should not be used as a winger when we ve skillful wingers to select 4rm.. Terry was a flop yesterday, he doesnt look coordinated… The Old El nino is gone, the sooner we get this, the better. Moses or sturridge should be given the top9 role most time if we truly need goals from a top9.
For goodness sake, is willian a striker, and when are we goin to allow those in the academy to grow?

Torres was the reason why Chelsea lost last night at least he missed chances which the almighty Drogba would not, when U pass the ball to him instead of him to shoot or pass to fellow he will be dribling him self then the oponent will take the ball off him that is not work of a striker pls give Moses and Sturridge more chance even Lucas Piazon and bench that pregnant wonan. sometimes Roman do cause problem for Chelsea he bought that man and he may be the one who othered RDM to play him in every match.
Chelsea board of directors should have every reason without been told that torres is a living dead human being. What he need right now is for him to be buried by letting him to die on bench. Oh my God! Why did we bring such calamity to our great team. D so calld torres is a big shame. His first touch is very pathetic. I honestly think torres is playing against chelsea. We fans need to revolt against his inclusion to d team. His damaging our efforts as a football club. Pls remove torres Rdm for ur safety.
di Matteo has done well so far, even beyond my expectation. We lost that game yesterday because he changed a winning side and a winning formation. Ramires is best as a holding midfielder alongside mikel. Starting terry ahead of cahil was a mistake. Cahil has more match fitness than terry. He should also learn to rest our fullbacks. Azplicueta and betrand ought to be playing more. anyways, kudos to ye blues. We will bounce back.
Chelsea is a team competing in a about six competition and just one stricker will do more harm than good to us.Top teams like Chelsea need to keep unperfoming players like Torres.Chelsea is a club who plays for trophy but not honour.Chelsea is goal oriented,plaayers like el nino dont deserve a chance.Torres should go and complete lukaku’s loan term in place of lukaku.
