Is Ancelotti In Line For Job At PSG?

When Carlo Ancelotti left Chelsea at the end of last season he said that he needed time away from football and that he was going to take a year away from the game.

Well there are strong reports in France suggesting he may be about to become the new manager of Paris Saint Germain. The French club have invested heavily over the summer and a lot is expected of them, but the pressure is beginning to mount on head coach Antoine Kombouare.

PSG lost their opening fixture 1-0 against Lorient, and they could only draw 1-1 away at Rennes at the weekend, leaving them placed 15th in the table after two games with just one point to their name, and Sporting Director Leonardo is keen to bring Ancelotti to the club.

Ancelotti is a proud man and it is unlikely that he will change his mind. After two years of intense pressure at Chelsea he probably needs a rest, and with all the pressure being put on PSG to do well this season it is perhaps something he could do without.
