Chelsea have been thwarted in their attempt to land the Argentinian Javier Pastore, so now they could be turning their attentions to the Brazilian playmaker Kaka according to reports this morning.
Andre Villas-Boas is desperate to add a couple of new names to his squad before the season starts, and with Spurs still playing hard ball over Luka Modric, he may now turn his attentions to the Real Madrid player.
Former Blues boss Jose Mourinho is putting Kaka up for sale as he no longer features in his plans, and the former £56Million player would be available at around £25million, a price that Chelsea would see as small change for a player of such ability.
It remains to be seen if Kaka would move to the Premiership though, as he may favour a move back to Italy and his former club AC Milan, but the AC Milan chief Executive Adriano Galliani has said that it would be “an impossible task” for them to resign their former player.
It could be a very interesting week at Stamford Bridge, as the search for new players hots up. Kaka in a Chelsea shirt, now that is sure to spilt peoples opinions.
