With former France under-20 international skipper now the biggest name in the upcoming transfer market, new developments have risen as it has been said that United might have one more chance to sign the midfield ace once again.
The 22 year old who was once signed to United in the 2011/2012 season, before leaving for the Old Lady after been denied playing time has become the toast of many European clubs after having grown into a fine player. PSG, Barcelona and Chelsea are all in the race to pip one another to his signature.
Barcelona are serving a transfer ban and won’t be able to sign players until January, but it was earlier reported that Pogba says he would wait till January and make a move to the La Liga winners. His brother claimed it was just a mere newspaper reports, but it turned out to be legit. However, with his wages demand of £210,000-a-week, it doesn’t seem the Champions League finalist will be keen on getting him again.
Chelsea are still hoping for a deal as they want to use Oscar as a makeweight in order to bring the 75 million pounds demanded by Juventus to 60 million. Manchester city are also said to have emerged favorites as they seem to be ready to meet all requirements. The Etihad management however are taking time to weigh their options, as FFP will come to play if they should sign him.
But the Red Devils are said to be “keen to do business” once more with Pogba, and it looks more likely that Chelsea will miss out on him in the long-run.
