The Chelsea captain John Terry saw his team try hard to break down a resilient Stoke team in the Blues first game of the season, and he is sure that Tony Pulis’ team were aiming for just one point right from the beginning of the match.
Terry said after the game: “They had made their intentions clear from the opening minutes,”
“The manager told us to just keep going and find the holes between the centre-halves.”
Despite dropping two points, Terry has no reason to think that Chelsea are not good enough to win the Premiership. He said: “We believe we can win the league, our intention last season was to win it.
“We pushed Man Utd all the way and they have gone out and strengthened, but we feel we have enough in the dressing room to go on and win the league.”
I wonder what he’s got stashed in the dressing room? Luka Modric and Carlos Tevez?
