Remember few days ago we reported of Chelsea’s interest in signing West Ham’s Aaron Cresswell? We reported back then that Chelsea are considering tabling a bid of £10 million for the left-back. However, today, new reports in dailymail has it that Chelsea can actually sign the player in the summer if they so wish.

However, according to Daily mail, Chelsea can only sign the high rated left-back if they are willing to pay as much as £20 million for him. According to the paper, the Blues are keen on improving their left-back position despite having in their ranks the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta and Luis Filipe who only joined the club last summer from Atletico Madrid.

The paper claims Filipe may leave the club in the summer and could be replaced by the West Ham star. The 25-year old defender has been one of West Ham’s shinning light this season. He has stepped up his performance from championship level ( he joined West Ham from Ipswich ) to become not just one of West ham’s best player’s so far but one of the best left backs in the premier league so far this season.

According to dailymail, should Chelsea or any other club successfully sign the paper ( definitely not for less than £20 ), West ham will seek to replace him with another Ipswich player Tyrone Mings.

Tyrone Mings means who can also pay the centre back position is likely to be available for as little as £10 million. He was linked to Arsenal last winter transfer window.
