Lampard – “We're Not In Full Flow Yet”

There have been some unhappy people at Chelsea over the past couple of weeks as the club have struggled to wins over West Brom and Norwich City, but midfielder Frank Lampard is not worried about his sides start to the season.

When asked about Chelsea’s start Lampard said, “It is early in the season and we’re not in full flow yet. I have seen a lot of games and if you look at Man City, they have looked very good, but went to Bolton and conceded two. Teams at this early stage of the season are quite hard to read.”

Lampard went on to add, “It might be quite nice for people not to talk about us and the fact other teams have spent more than us. We can concentrate on ourselves. Sometimes it is quite nice when everyone is not expecting Chelsea to run away with it like in previous years. It leaves it up to us to prove people wrong. At the moment it is important to get the results and find that full flow.”

Well said Frank and seven points from nine is a solid start to the season if not quite the same as Manchester United and Manchester City’s electric start. A certain manager at the Emirates would gladly swap places right now and would love to be unbeaten after three games. The signs are looking good for Chelsea at this early stage of the season and long may it continue.

arsenal current result shouldn’t be looked as a tragedy. A draw with newcastle and loss to both liverpool and man utd is hardly something to cry about. I’m sure this could happen to man city and even chelsea. So to all the arsenal fans chin up there is still much to play for.
