Latest Chelsea Injury News Update

Goal-Celebration-Chelsea-vs-HullDespite being one of the most confident-shy clubs in the Premier League at the moment, Chelsea will be boosted by the return Radamel Falcao from injury, per reports.

Falcao picked up a muscular injury ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev and has been out since then.

The news was confirmed on the website of Chelsea during Mourinho’s pre-match press conference. The Portuguese said of Falcao:

“He will be out for a few weeks”

Falcao joined Courtois who has been on the sideline from the inception of the summer. Sadly too, Kurt Zouma was reportedly injured while representing France U21 during this international break.

However, Falcao’s probably return will boost the squad of Chelsea that have been horrendous. Falcao has scored one goal this season and will be looking to outscore his Premier League self.

Chelsea’s have been torrid beginning this season and the match against Norwich has been tagged make or mare for Mourinho whose future is already in doubt after losing seven League matches out of 12.

Diego Costa has been more renowned for his temperament than his goal scoring prowess this term and Mourinho may be looking to tweak his attack in favour of Falcao next weekend.

However, there have been speculations that Falcao will be sold in January but if he picks up form, he might be considered to remain at Stamford Bridge.
