Lukaku doesn't want to be at Chelsea next season
Chelsea’s last summer transfer Romelu Lukaku has grown frustrated with the lack of chances Chelsea’s managers Roberto Di Matteo and Andres Villas-Boas have created for him and is ready to leave if nothing will change.
Although the striker who joined Chelsea for a record breaking £18 million transfer fee has stated that although he doesn’t regret joining the Blues, he must leave on loan if he wants to be able to continue his career at a high.
“I need to play more games,” he told Belgian newspaper De Standaard.
“It has not been as I imagined at Chelsea. Both Andre Villas-Boas and Roberto Di Matteo have stuck with experienced players.
“I haven’t always agreed with their decisions but, as a player, you have to accept the decisions of the coach.
“I don’t have any regrets about joining Chelsea. I’ve learned a lot.
“Let’s wait and see who is appointed Chelsea manager but, as it stands, I’ll be going out on loan.
“Playing games is the most important thing for my career right now and for that reason it’s better to look at other places.”
Lukaku came with a bang in the summer and everybody expected to see a lot more from the striker who stunned Belgium in the last two seasons with his amazing goal scoring ability, but now it seems that the dream is over for the striker. What do you think Chelsea should do in his case?
If we re-sign Drogba, loan him out at least for the first half the season. If we don’t re-sign him, make sure to keep him and put him on the pitch. In my opinion, he should now be preferred over Sturridge who seems to play like he’s the only one on the field.
@farcyde21 absolutely… Sturridge doesnt pass the ball, and anytime he passes, that another failure cause the pass wont reach the destination…
l expected him to do that at the beginning of the season,i think he is a good player and needs to improve more.ln the next season i think he will be more closely like his mentor.wish him all the best.
Lukaku should be given games to play,seems as if he’s a wasted million.Chelsea should use him very well next season
