Mourinho Set To Lure £180,000-A-Week Truly WORLD CLASS UCL Winner To Chelsea

Jose MourinhoChelsea boss José Mourinho is plotting a January pillage of Galatasaray for one of his former charges Wesley Sneijder, talksSPORT have cited reports in Turkey.

The Netherlands international worked under Mourinho at Inter Milan and was an integral member of the Serie A side’s treble-winning campaign in 2010.

Mourinho’s creative players at Chelsea have all struggled for spark so far this term and the Portuguese boss is looking to bolster his midfield with the addition of an experienced middle man in the New Year. As per Turkish publication Fanatik, Mourinho has earmarked Sneijder as his prime target and the Blues are prepared to meet the Dutchman’s £14m release clause, which is a little steep.

The Blues have looked devoid of direction and ingenuity in their recent Premier League outings, currently mired in 16th position in the league standings after a dreadful run of 3 wins, 2 draws and 7 defeats in 12 games.

Hence, Sneijder – who has been regularly linked with Manchester United, could be the player to lift the spark for Mourinho’s side and help reignite their already dreary season.

Chelsea have the likes of Oscar, Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard who can operate as a number 10, but all have been underwhelming so far this season. If Sneijder were to join Chelsea, he could have a settling influence on the aforementioned players and provide the kind of attacking spark the Blues have lacked this term.

Sneijder joined Galatasaray from Inter in 2013 and has made over 100 appearances for the Turkish giants.
