The Egyptian has refused to speculate where his future lies as the season gradually comes to an end. Rather, he has chosen to wait till few weeks time before giving his decision. The 22 year-old Chelsea winger currently on loan at serie A outfit, Fiorentina has to make a decision whether to opt to leave Chelsea permanently, or rather accept offer for loan extension in Italy. The “Egyptian Messi” has been on blistering form since joining the team, after being involved in a 22 million pound deal that saw Cuadrado move to Chelsea. He already has scored 4 goals in 7 league appearances.

His form has helped La Viola qualify for the Europa League semis, and they are poised to play defending champions, Sevilla on May 7. With such wonderful start in the club, they are likely not to hesitate if a loan extension till 2016 summer, and subsequent permanent deals can be reached. As regards his future, the winger declared;

“Chelsea gave me the opportunity to reach that level. I still have one month to make a decision about my future. I am enjoying being here and my objective is to help Fiorentina reach the [Europa League] final.”

Roma and Juventus were also earlier interested in the former CAF Most Promising Talent of the Year, before ending up at Fiorentina. Upon signing him back in 2013, Mourinho said of the former Basel player;

 “He’s young, he’s fast, he’s creative, he’s enthusiastic. When we analysed him, he looks the kind of humble personality on the pitch, ready to work for the team.”

Those qualities of his haven’t diminished, though he struggled with adapting with Chelsea’s style of play. The loan might just be the inspiration he needs to get back on top form, and probably return to Chelsea by the end of 2016. But until May ending, when he is likely ready to declare his next plans, we can only keep speculating.
