Chelsea travel away against Crystal Palace in the next round of fixtures of the Barclays Premier League And with Crystal palace playing excellently of late processing one of the best defenses this season, we expect a very tough entertaining encounter.
The premier league champions were poor at Old Trafford and were lucky to escape with just a draw.
Despite an injury hit front line Chelsea expect Diego Costa back following his suspension. Here is Chelsea’s predicted lineup against Crystal Palace;
Defense
Thibaut Courtois- the Belgium shot stopper seems back to his brilliant best after two unbelievable saves at Old Trafford last time out. Chelsea will hope he will carry on the momentum at Palace.
Branislav Ivanovic- has always looked a shadow of himself this season with horrible displays at right back. He will be called upon as Chelsea have no reliable back up option left back position.
Kurt Zouma- the youngster has been the only bright player in the Chelsea backline he was fantastic as usual against Manchester United and Hiddink will hope he remains fit and at his best at Palace.
John Terry- the Chelsea captain will hope to continue his rehabilitation from the poor run of him he started with this season.
Cesar Azpilicueta- he will be at his usual best as he is one of the few Chelsea stars to shine when the team declined.
Midfield
Nemanja Matic- has been poor this season but Chelsea will have to make do with him.
Mikel- Mikel will deputized in the absence of Fabregas and this could see balance and stability in the Chelsea midfield.
Pedro- we hope to see how he will perform against a rock solid Palace defense.
Willian- arguably the blues best player this season, Hiddink will be happy he was able to train after suffering a knock at Old Trafford.
Eden Hazard- seems to have stepped up a notch as he was brilliant against united, putting the united defense on the back foot on several occasions.
Attack
Diego Costa- after getting an unprecedented rest, he will be raring to play.
