No John Terry, No Ramires – Chelsea Likely Line Up For Tottenham Clash

Chelsea goal celebrationJose Mourinho will be without five first team players as Chelsea March on to face Spurs at White Hart Lane.

Courtois is back in training, but the Belgian goalkeeper is set to sit out the game due to lack of match fitness. Asmir Begovic is expected to start at goal again.

Ramires and John Terry picked up injuries during Chelsea’s win against Maccabi and will miss the London derby game so Kurt Zouma and Gary Cahill are expected to start at their respective center back positions.

Radamel Falcao is also doubtful for the game and Loic Remy is set to miss the game due to the birth of his child so the Brazilian born Spanish international Diego Costa is set to start up front again.

Following impressive performances in the previous fixtures Mourinho could include Ivanovic and Azpilicueta as the full backs to take on spurs although Mourinho could also opt to play Kenedy at Left back as he did against Norwich.

Matic and Fabregas are expected to start in midfield once again with Fabregas having more freedom on the ball than Matic who’s job is to help out in defence and link up attacking play.

And of course the bushy haired Brazilian is expected to feature on the right wing with Eden Hazard continuing in the number 10 role following his return from an apparent ghost mode as his early season performances were simply not good enough.Pedro is also expected to feature in the game possibly on the left wing.

Chelsea possible xi: Begovic; Ivanovic, Zouma, Cahill, Azpilicueta; Matic, Fabregas; Hazard, Willian, Pedro; Costa.
