According to sky sports, Chelsea are ready to send high rated winger Christian Atsu on a season long loan deal to premier league new boys Bournemouth. This rumour intensified this afternoon when the player was snapped at Bournemouth’s ground earlier this afternoon.
According to Sky, the player was at Bournemouth’s training ground to both hold final discussion with the club and under take medical examinations.
Since he was bought by Chelsea in 2013, the Ghanian is yet to play a single match for the Blues. He was first second on loan to the Dutch league where he played for Vitesse Arnhem and was impressive. Instead of recalling him to Chelsea’s team ahead of just concluded season, Jose Mourinho decided to send him on another loan to Everton and if Sky sports are right, the winger is set for a third loan move but this time to Bournemouth.
After having a relatively good time in Holland, Atsu was not able to repeat the same in England with Everton which has led to reports Chelsea may let him join Bournmouth on loan but with an option for the premier league new boys to buy him on a permanent basis.
